Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Senior Information Technology Consultant (Senior Consultant). This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking to pursue a successful career in IT consulting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their business needs, challenges, and goals. Conduct in-depth consultations to identify opportunities where our IT solutions can provide value and address client pain points. Act as a trusted advisor and provide tailored recommendations to clients, focusing on delivering solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
  2. Generate Sales Leads: Proactively identify and pursue sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and targeted prospecting. Utilize effective sales techniques to generate interest, qualify prospects, and secure meetings or demonstrations to showcase our IT solutions.
  3. Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand client requirements, offer personalized solutions, and communicate the value proposition of our IT products and services effectively. Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and presentations that address client needs and demonstrate the benefits of our solutions.
  4. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Effectively utilize CRM systems to track and update sales activities, manage sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular reports to management on sales progress. Implement strategies to accelerate sales cycles, overcome obstacles, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  5. Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Conduct market research to identify potential new markets, industry verticals, or niche opportunities for our IT solutions. Analyze competitive landscape and position our products and services effectively to gain a competitive edge.
  6. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns or issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale. Actively seek client feedback to continuously improve our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • 6-10 years experience in technology and/or consulting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a passion for technology and a keen interest in the IT industry
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales methodologies and technologies
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required
